Text Box: Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School will be held the week of July 9-13, 2007 at York Memorial AMEZ Church. It is anticipated that Vacation Bible School will start at 5:30 pm each day and last until 8:00pm. Each day starts with light refreshments, devotion, class time, and ends with a review of lessons from each class.

Vacation Bible School is  all about learning more about the God that we serve and how we can become more and more like HIM! There are classes for all ages. If you have a desire to be closer to God, then join us! God has the same desire… to be closer with you!

The Young Missionary Society (Y’s) is comprised of youth from 13-22 years  of age! The Y’s stand out in the colors of navy blue  (truth and loyalty) and gold (heaven and honor).

The Y’s believe in: Christ for Every Youth and Every Youth for Christ! Sis. Margaret Staton is the Y’s Coordinator.

Text Box: Youth Usher Board

On 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month, we are greeted with lovely smiles from our tenacious youth!

Loretta Pruitt coordinates efforts for all Ushers at York. The Youth Usher Board is comprised of the Young Missionary Society (Y’s) and the BUDS of Promise! And for a special treat, our youth always gives us a joyful march to the altar after collecting our Ministry of Kindness monies! It is truly a precious sight to see our Youth being about the Father’s Business!

March Y’s!  March BUDS!  Keep Marching for the Lord!
